Commissioning a Painting
I work from photographs of the subject, good clear large photographs provided by the client.
Portraits are carried out in watercolours and acrylics, and all materials used are of the highest quality.
I am happy to answer your questions and talk about your requirements with no obligation on your part. When you decide to go ahead with the commission, you will then be asked to sign an agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount agreed, before the portrait is started.
In the unlikely event, you choose not to accept the finished painting, I will retain the deposit and the painting, and you will owe nothing further.
The prices shown below are for a head and shoulders portrait of a single animal, with a plain drip/splattered effect background. Prices are subject to change.
Prices vary according to size, the number of animals included the complexity and background.
Additional animals or special/detailed backgrounds will generally add about 50% to the prices shown.
If the portrait is to be shipped, the cost of insured and tracked shipping of the Artwork to the Collector’s address will be in addition to the price of the portrait.
